HotSound completed in 2010 twenty years old, stabilizing itself as a solid company. This success is due to the respect given to the audio professional, to the continuous enhancement of our products and research works, technological development and quality control.

HotSound is proud of been one of the few Brazilian companies that have developed its own technological know-how; and keeps in it’s headquarter an advanced research team, composed by physicians, engineers and technicians, as well a sophisticated laboratory.
Chronology
» 1990 - In July of that year, HotSound was funded, with the objective of produce audio amplifiers to attend the local audio professionals.
HS 800 - The first model produced, with 350 Wrms per channel. Simple but robust, it was very well accepted by the “highway” professionals due to its sonic performance and almost non defects.
» 1991 - Family grows, launched the HS 500 and HS 200 models.
» 1992 - HotSound moves to its own headquarter, keeping its amplifier production.
» 1993 - Launched the HS 1.4 amplifier in 3 rack units, with a power of 700 Wrms/channel
In 2 ohms, becoming in that year a bestseller.
» 1994 - In the end of this year surge the HS SX amplifier line, with a new visual, using a more improved finishing and circuits more elaborated with exceptional quality of sound and modern protections, like: auto ramp, clip limiter and thermal protection. This line of amplifiers is being produced until these days, becoming a classic of the professional audio with more than 21 available models.
» 1996 - HotSound participates by the first time in Expomusic 96, international audio fair realized in SP-Brazil.
» 2000 - Beginning of the HotSound audio processors launching the crossovers CR 2002, CR 2020 and the graphic equalizer EQ 2031.
» 2002 - Launched the parametrical equalizer PEQ 1004, the compressor S 2002 and the gates F 4004 / F 8008. HotSound peripherals are received by the market as truly classics and reach the riders of the most exigent artists.
» 2004 - Launching of the Pre-Amplifiers MPA 400, VT 4000 and VT 4000/2. Using the classic technology of the 50s/60s, these equipments call the most sophisticated professionals attention, both studio and highway. Actually they can be found in the best studios and traveling with the best artists.
In the end of this year, is started the research work that later would become the first digital power amplifier fully developed and manufactured in Brazil.
» 2005 - Presentation, in Expomusic 2005, of the first Brazilian digital power amplifier series: The DigiLite series, initially with the models 5.0 (5000Wrms) and 6.4 (6400Wrms).
» 2006 - Beginning of the production and commercialization of the DMS 8 and DMS 6, the first Brazilian digital management system fully developed by HotSound, greatly accepted by the market.
» 2007 - Reach the stores the first units of the DigiLite line and at the same time is announced the launching of the models 3.2 (3200Wrsm) and 8.0 (8000Wrsm). The first Brazilian digital power amplifiers series is an immediately sales success, causing furor in the audio market.
In Expomusic 2007 is also presented the new HS AUDIO power amplifiers line, adding high quality with low price.
» 2008 - In January reach the stores the first units of the HS AUDIO series.
In May, during the AES 2008 fair, HotSound launch its newest power amplifier series, the HS PRO series. This new family ally high sound quality, high technology and low weight.
